Set among lush rolling hills in the fast-growing city of Iskandar, Malaysia, the Raffles American School campus accommodates pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students. The 19-hectare school is envisioned as a holistic learning environment seamlessly interwoven into its beautiful setting. Given the site’s slope, the campus consists of three main “terraces,” with each terrace occupied by a cluster of grade levels.
Our facilities include technology-integrated classrooms, science labs, visual art, dance, and performing arts studios, a performing arts center with an 800-seater auditorium and a black box theater, and a library for students of various reading levels and abilities.
Raffles American School is also the only K-12 school in Southeast Asia to feature its own planetarium, which provides students with unique learning opportunities to support our progressive education models and philosophy.
Raffles American School is also home to a senior boarding program that provides pastoral care in five boarding facilities. The campus also features a host of athletic amenities, including two separate indoor air-conditioned gymnasiums, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a shallow training pool, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field, and a stadium that includes a second full-size soccer field, track and field, and a 400-meter running track.
