Desa Sarong 2.0 celebrates Malay heritage in a vibrant showcase
Desa Sarong 2.0 took place at Desa Keroma Eco Resort on 10 January 2026, from 5:00 PM to 12:00 midnight, bringing together culture, community, and celebration in one lively evening. The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including traditional food stalls and captivating performances of Inang and Zapin dances, performed by participants from diverse backgrounds.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of representatives from neighbouring Indonesia, particularly from Belangkis, alongside local cultural practitioners. Among the distinguished attendees were Nor Syazlan bin Abd Razak, Director of Yayasan Warisan Johor, and ACP Raiz Mukhliz bin Azman Aziz, Muar District Police Chief.
