The grand finale of Coastal Combat Desaru Coast 2026 took place on 24 January 2026 at Desaru Coast Riverside, kicking off at 8:00 PM with electrifying energy. The highlight of the night featured international-level professional Muay Thai bouts, the official launch of Coastal Combat 2026, and a special appearance by Shuk Sahar and Jimin Kim that captivated the crowd.

The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ On bin Jaabar @ Jaafar, Deputy State Secretary of Johor (Sports, Youth & Volunteers). Accompanying him were Mohammad Nazrul bin Abd Rahim, Director of Tourism Johor; Norazmi bin Haji Amir Hamzah, President of MPP; along with other distinguished guests.

This event not only elevated the profile of local combat sports but also supported the Visit Johor Year 2026 and Visit Malaysia initiatives, reinforcing Johor’s position as an international sports tourism destination. The night concluded on a high note with outstanding performances by professional fighters, including Johor-born Jihin Radzuan, also known as “Shadow Cat.”
