Nama JIBRIL mungkin tidak asing lagi bagi ramai rakyat Malaysia, tetapi kisah asal usul nama restoran ini sebenarnya jauh lebih peribadi, emosional, dan bersejarah. Pengasas JIBRIL adalah Pelajar Undang-undang UiTM. Di Fakulti Undang-undang UiTM, terdapat acara teater tahunan yang dipanggil UiTM Mock Trial, di mana pelajar undang-undang menganjurkan drama untuk mempamerkan bagaimana kes undang-undang akan dimainkan di mahkamah. The founders of JIBRIL were UiTM Law Students.In UiTM Law School, there\u2019s an annual theatre event called UiTM Mock Trial, where the law students organise a theatre play to showcase how a legal case would play out in a court.
