Kelab Golf Poresia ditubuhkan pada tahun 1990. Nama \u2018Poresia\u2019 adalah gabungan \u2018Pore\u2019 dari Singapura dan \u2018Sia\u2019 dari Malaysia, dan ia melambangkan hubungan antara kedua-dua negara dan kerjasama mereka yang menjayakan resort ini. Kelab ini mempunyai padang golf kejuaraan yang direka oleh Pete Dye, seorang pereka padang golf antarabangsa yang terkenal. Susun atur asal padang mengandungi empat gelung 9 lubang yang boleh ditukar ganti; membentangkan padang yang mencabar untuk memenuhi keperluan pemain golf amatur dan profesional.<\/p>\n
Pada tahun 2018, Poresia Golf Club telah diambil alih oleh Walker Corporation, salah sebuah syarikat pembangunan swasta terbesar di Australia. Sejak itu, padang golf tersebut telah melalui program konfigurasi semula dan pengubahsuaian yang meluas untuk menjadikannya padang golf 18 lubang yang menakjubkan, yang mengekalkan ciri-ciri reka bentuk aslinya.<\/p>\n
Pada tahun 2020, kelab golf itu dinamakan semula SENIBONG GOLF CLUB.<\/p>\n
Terletak di tengah lanskap alam semula jadi yang panoramik di bekas ladang kelapa sawit, padang golf 120 ekar dengan 18 lubang ini menawarkan pengalaman golf yang sempurna untuk pemain dari semua peringkat kebolehan. Kagumi kawasan golf yang menakjubkan dengan persekitaran semula jadi pokok kelapa sawit, bunga-bungaan, aliran air yang mengalir dan burung-burung tropika.<\/p>\n
Sembilan lubang pertama mencabar dari awal hingga akhir; mengeluarkan setiap keupayaan penuh pemain golf. Sembilan lubang pertama menawarkan pemain golf fairway yang luas untuk dipukul dari pukulan permulaan dan mencabar pukulan pendekatan dengan kontur yang tidak rata.<\/p>\n
Laluan kedua mempamerkan gayanya dengan kawasan bertanjak yang dihiasi pokok kelapa sawit. Laluan tepi diselit oleh bunker pasir yang besar dan parit dalam di luar potongan pertama laluan. Kawasannya mengejutkan dengan lebih banyak bahaya air yang menguji pertimbangan pemain golf. Beberapa lubang mempunyai anak sungai yang melintasi laluan dua kali; mewujudkan peluang menang-kalah yang menarik untuk pemukul jauh.<\/p>\n
Padang golf itu dijaga dengan baik, terutamanya di sekeliling kawasan hijau yang luas dengan kontur landai dan banyak kawasan lerengnya. Kotak tee yang ditinggikan dengan indah memberikan pemandangan indah lereng menurun yang panjang dan landskap semula jadi di sekitarnya.<\/p>\n
Champions Golf ditubuhkan oleh Profesional Golfer Juara dan Jurulatih PGA terkemuka, Alan Murray dan Garry Overy pada tahun 1998 untuk menyediakan latihan berkualiti untuk pemain golf dari semua peringkat kebolehan. Alan Murray, bekas Ketua Profesional Singapore Island Country Club (1972 hingga 1980), memenangi 60 gelaran Profesional Golf termasuk; Terbuka Perancis (1962), Kejohanan PGA Australia (1961) dan 3 Rolex Masters.<\/p>\n
Pada tahun 1998, anak Alan, Matthew Murray menyertai Champions Golf untuk mengembangkan perniagaan syarikat itu dengan usaha baru pengurusan kelab & gelanggang serta acara golf. Poresia Golf Club was established in 1990. The First Nine is challenging from the start to finish; extracting every ounce of skill from the golfers. The First Nine offers the golfer a wide fairway to hit off the drives and challenges the approach with uneven contours. The Second Nine sets its style with its undulating terrain lined with palm-oil trees. The side fairways are flanked by large sand bunkers and deep troughs beyond the first cut of the fairway. Its terrain surprises with more water hazards that test the golfer\u2019s judgement. A few of the holes have creeks crossing the fairways twice; setting up some excellent risk-reward opportunities for long hitters. The golf course is well-maintained, especially so around the large gently contoured greens and their many run-off areas. The wonderfully elevated tee-boxes provide excellent views of the long downhill and surrounding natural landscape. Champions Golf was established by Champions Professional Golfer and leading PGA Coach, Alan Murray and Garry Overy in 1998 to provide quality coaching for golfers of all abilities.
