The oldest rainforest located in Southeast Johor is a treasure of biodiversity and a critical habitat that is very important for the survival of endangered megafauna in the country, including Malayan tigers, Malayan tapirs and Asian elephants. There are two main entrances to the Johor Endau Rompin national park which is the Peta entrance located on the eastern border, in the Mersing district and the Selai entrance on the southwest border, in the Segamat district. The entrance to Peta is the path to the wilderness in the Ulu Sungai Endau valley, where there are clear flowing rivers and the main attraction is the waterfall. A visit to Peta is also a cultural experience, since the Endau valley is located in the traditional land of the people of Kampung Peta whose survival depends on the forest with a unique and difficult to explain way of life. Through the eyes and hearts of the Jakun community, this eternal land is filled with oral history; inhabited by invisible beings; and live with the hidden message of loving animals. 5 interesting places on the Map: Upeh Guling \u2013 Served by the view of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country Buaya Sangkut \u2013 Experience an adventurous journey to the foot of this magnificent waterfall.
