The Muar area has an ecotourism site established by the Parit Jawa Mangrove Community, known as Laman Bakau Parit Kassim.
This mangrove site, also referred to as the ‘Parit Jawa Walk of Life,’ aligns with the Low Carbon Community concept and serves as a conservation initiative for replanting mangrove seedlings to restore the mangrove forest.
Additionally, a Mud Creeper Habitat Zone project has been developed at Laman Bakau Parit Kassim to preserve and increase the stock of mud creeper broodstock to meet the demand of traders and food enthusiasts.
