The Kayuhan Retro Klasik Bandar Maharani 2026 was successfully held on 24 January 2026 around Muar town, attracting 80 participants from across various states. This retro-themed cycling programme not only promoted a healthy lifestyle but also offered participants a unique journey through the history and heritage of Bandar Maharani, with routes passing several historical landmarks around Muar.

The flag-off ceremony took place in front of Bangunan Sultan Abu Bakar and was officiated by Mohammad Nazrul bin Abd Rahim, Director of Tourism Johor. Also present were Tuan Haji Zainal bin Eran, Muar District Officer, and Dato’ Ashari Md Sarip, Chairman of JKPD Maharani.

The organisation of this programme reflects the Johor State Government’s continued commitment to supporting tourism and heritage initiatives in conjunction with the Visit Johor Year 2026, further strengthening Bandar Maharani’s identity as a historic and culturally rich destination.
